Already ITIL® 4 Foundation certified? This focused 1-day course is the fast, cost-effective route to upgrading your credentials to ITIL® Foundation (Version 5). Rather than repeating what you already know, the Bridge course covers only what is new in Version 5.

This course provides the expanded scope, updated concepts and unified digital product and service lifecycle. It will prepare you for the ITIL® Foundation Bridge examination, awarded by PeopleCert. Upon passing, you will be awarded the ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) certification.

Why upgrade to ITIL® Version 5?

ITIL® Version 5 is an evolution of ITIL® 4, not a reset. Your existing ITIL® 4 Foundation certification and learning investment remain valid, Version 5 builds on that foundation and expands the framework to better support modern, digital-first operating models.

About this course

This 1-day virtual classroom course is designed exclusively for ITIL® 4 Foundation certificate holders. It focuses on the changes introduced in ITIL® Version 5 and gives you everything you need to pass the Foundation Bridge examination and earn your ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) certification. It does not repeat ITIL® 4 content you already know.

If you hold an ITIL® v3 certification rather than ITIL® 4, this course is not suitable, you will need to complete the full ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) course instead.

This course is designed specifically for professionals who hold an ITIL® 4 Foundation certification and want to upgrade to ITIL® Foundation (Version 5). It is particularly relevant to:

Are there any prerequisites?

ITIL® 4 Foundation certification is required to attend this course and sit the Bridge examination. You will need to provide proof of your ITIL® 4 Foundation certificate upon registration.

If you hold an ITIL® v3 certification, please enrol in the full ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) course instead.

Successful candidates are awarded the ITIL® Foundation (Version 5) certification, by PeopleCert. Your examination voucher is provided on the first day of the course.
