Description

Already holding the ITIL® 4 Managing Professional or ITIL® v3 Expert designation? The ITIL® Managing Professional Transition (Version 5) course gives you a fast-track route to the next evolution of the world's most trusted service management framework, without completing all advanced modules individually.

In 5-days, you will cover the key changes and enhancements introduced across ITIL® Product, Service, Experience and Transformation (Version 5), bringing your credentials and knowledge fully up to date for AI-driven, digital-first organisations.

What is ITIL® Version 5?

ITIL® is the global best practice framework for Digital Product and Service Management. Trusted by over 3 million professionals, powering 82% of the Fortune 500, and adopted by more than 50,000 organisations worldwide, ITIL® has long set the standard for excellence in service management.

ITIL® Version 5 is the next evolution of ITIL® 4. Where previous versions focused on IT service management, ITIL® Version 5 goes further -- as IT moves to the front lines of business, it is relevant wherever digital products and services create value. Designed for AI-driven, digital-first organisations, it expands the framework from service management to full digital product and service management.

Many organisations manage products and services separately, creating gaps in delivery, reliability and customer experience. ITIL® Version 5 unifies them into one lifecycle:

Design together

Build and launch together

Operate and improve together

Align product and service design from the start

Reduce handoff gaps and launch faster

Continuously improve as one connected team

The result: faster delivery, fewer gaps, better experiences and stronger business outcomes.

About this course

This transition module focuses exclusively on the changes and enhancements introduced in ITIL® Version 5 across Foundation, Product, Service, Experience and Transformation -- enabling experienced professionals to update their knowledge efficiently without repeating content they already hold.

The course covers four ITIL® Version 5 advanced modules:

ITIL® Product (Version 5) Provides guidance for organisations involved in the creation and continual improvement of digital products across the digital product and service lifecycle. Digital products provide capabilities that enable service offerings, and may enable one or many services throughout their lifecycle.

ITIL® Service (Version 5) Explores how organisations design, build, deliver, support and continually improve services to create value for stakeholders. Positions digital services not as a support function, but as a central mechanism through which organisations deliver outcomes, shape experiences and build resilience.

ITIL® Experience (Version 5) Integrates human experience into the design and delivery of digital products and services, recognising that functional success alone is not enough. Combines human emotions, behaviour and trust with traditional concerns such as performance, cost and reliability to embed experience-focused thinking into everyday strategy and service management.

ITIL® Transformation (Version 5) Guides organisations through enterprise-wide transformation, bridging the gap between ambition and realisation. Structures transformation across four interconnected layers: governance, positioning, execution and learning.
